With support from the Atla Digitization Grant Program, the Mary Bray Spence Collection of Crosses and Religious Symbols is now available online.
Mary Bray Spence of Gulfport, Florida, began collecting crosses while recuperating from a serious accident. She asked friends and family to send her crosses from their travels. By the time she donated her collection it included over 700 religious symbols from across of the globe.
